Alternative Education Provision Aims

Nurturing Children ~ Equipping Professionals ~ Empowering Caregivers

The aim of Chameleon's Alternative Education Provisions is to provide children, who are experiencing significant barriers to accessing their education, the opportunity to participate in small group and 1:1 interventions supported by a multidisciplinary team.

Our provisions are suitable for children with a range of learning differences, including the following groups.

  • Neurodivergent individuals (including Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, Dysgraphia, OCD, Dyspraxia)
  • Mental Health Difficulties (Including depression & Anxiety)
  • Those who have experienced Developmental Trauma
  • Those with no known diagnosis, who are experiencing barriers to their learning

Our underlying ethos is to facilitate an individual, bespoke provision which enables the child to CONNECT

  • With themselves
  • The world around them
  • The people they trust

All of our interventions are based on Dr Perry's principle 'The Three R's;' Regulate, Relate, Reason.

Through connection, using the 'Three R's' and a holistic approach to developing the individuals education and wellbeing, we aim to support reintegration into School. We share our experience and expertise with the relevant professionals working with the child through a supportive relationship.
